Trading Employee Workplace Experience Survey

We need your input!

The most important asset for firms in the global markets trading industry is people. Hiring, developing, and retaining a high-performing team can make the difference between success and failure in the competitive world of financial services, and especially within the fast-changing businesses that trade in the global markets.

Many firms focus on initiatives to improve employee hiring, training, and retention, but there is limited understanding about the challenges faced by those working in the industry and whether these initiatives are having the right effect.

The Trading Employee Workplace Experience Survey, developed by members of Sustainable Trading and presented in partnership with Global Trading, is intended to capture the experiences of everyone that works in the trading industry: the impact of work on their mental and physical wellbeing, if their work-life balance is considered, if the employee support they have available is effective, if they feel heard and valued, and other factors faced on a day-to-day basis. This anonymous information will be aggregated, analysed, and made available to companies across the industry to help them understand the challenges faced by their employees and how they can better support their workforce.

Sustainable Trading has worked with over 60 firms in the global markets trading industry to identify themes and trends that affect employees experience in the workplace. Now we need to hear from individuals within the industry to identify what employees need in order to thrive within their organisations.
